    Exclamation RHEL-ES and RHEL-AS differences

    Dear Experts,

    Whats the major differences between ES(RHEL) and (RHEL)AS variants. Only Hardware support difference or any other things..

    Clarify me or is there any urls to check post it.

    I think it was just a name change. After RHAS 3, they started calling it ES… I might be wrong though..

    now there’s 63,005 bugs in the code!!

    There are no technical differences, just differences with your support maintenance. If you have a large server (ie more than 4 CPUs, higher memory) then you must use RHAS to qualify for support. Otherwise use RHEL.
