If you create a yum repository out of your RHEL3u5 cd, and then set your yum.conf to point to it a "yum update" should do the trick.
I don’t have a RHAS3u5 cd on me, but the packages on the CD might even be stored in a repo format for you…
Dear Experts,
I have one server installed with RHEL-3 update 3 . I want to update that to RHEL-3 update 5.How can we do that. Do we need patches for updating.
Whether the pactches are free or paid one. If you have Cd of RHEL-3 Update5 can we do that, if so how to ? Can anyone clarify me regarding this issue.
Waiting for your valuable replies,
Regards,
