    Network problem

I’m having difficulty in getting access to a simple 2-PC (Win + Linux) network. I have set up lisa, AFAIK, but it tells me lisa is not running.

How do I get lisa to run at boot-up please ??

First of all, what’s your distro?

LISA is NOT a file sharing program/server. Samba is what you need. Samba and LISA are pretty different. Samba is the protocol/daemon for sharing files with windows boxen and lisa is a LAN Information Server (LISa). It basically gathers the info about the LAN (IPs, etc.) and makes them browseable, showing samba shares as well as any ftp/http servers. So if you want to be able to mount from Linux box, you need Samba.
