Hi,
I am having trouble installing OpenBSD via CD. I did this.
e 1
y wish to edit in CHS
BIOS starting cylinder 203
BIOS starting head enter
BIOS starting sector 1
BIOS ending cylinder 2585
BIOS ending head 239
BIOS ending sector 63
p
p m
f 0 because i am dual booting Vista if i mark f 1 then Vista won’t boot
p
w
q
p m
d a
a a
offset enter
size 150m
FS type enter
mount point /
a b
then i get an error saying either a and i are over lapping or b and i are over lapping. How can i get them so i can install Open?
Set B first, since it’s your swap partition, and then set A. You aren’t allowing any space for B it seems. You might want to allocate a bit more space as well.
If that doesn’t work, really you should post the results of "p m". At least then, we can see the offsets, FS types, free space, etc. Until then, I can only assume partition "i" is Vista, or one of many partitions on the drive for whatever.
