    need to get linux on the internet

    Hi, im new to linux and need some help configuring it for browseing the net. i have SuSE 9.1. is their a website with info on how to setup the network card.

    this is really easily achieved by the help of webmin, get it from www.webmin.com and install it, then open the webmin page and you can configure the network card there, (webmin has also lots of other things which make it much easier to use)
    you can also just use yast, at the command line type 'yast2' go to 'network devices' ---> 'network card' and the rest you should be able to figure out if not post back, good luck
