    Hi,
There are many open source forums available online, out of these which one is userfriendly and better to use? phpbb or vBulletin

phpBB is best for someone starting out for two reasons. First off, the capability is less, but provides more than enough functionality. Second, vBulletin is not free, nor is it cheap, and you have to pay an annual fee. vBulletin you usually consider when upgrading forum software, and providing more options to the users.
