    SMP: AP CPU #3 Launched!

I see the following in dmesg of freebsd. Anybody knows what this mean?
    SMP: AP CPU #3 Launched!
    SMP: AP CPU #1 Launched!
    SMP: AP CPU #2 Launched!

  2. #2
It means it has recognized the other 3 CPUs after the first, and is utilizing them (zero isn't shown in those messages, but in others).

    Like this:

    Code:
    CPU: Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5405 @ 2.00GHz (1995.03-MHz K8-class CPU)
FreeBSD/SMP: Multiprocessor System Detected: 8 CPUs
    cpu0: <ACPI CPU> on acpi0
    p4tcc0: <CPU Frequency Thermal Control> on cpu0
    cpu1: <ACPI CPU> on acpi0
    p4tcc1: <CPU Frequency Thermal Control> on cpu1
    cpu2: <ACPI CPU> on acpi0
    p4tcc2: <CPU Frequency Thermal Control> on cpu2
    cpu3: <ACPI CPU> on acpi0
    p4tcc3: <CPU Frequency Thermal Control> on cpu3
