Blocking hosts by re-directing dns queries

I know I can point various DNS names to a blank server to avoid ads, etc. by putting entries in the /etc/hosts file (or in the equiv win32 file). But, now I've got 4 computers being used here at my home LAN, and I'd like a solution for all the machines to share.

I've already got a cache-only DNS server running - is there anyway I can "hijack" various domain names like, etc. using that DNS server, since all LAN clients use it for DNS?
