Seems I have some work to doCode:/dev/hda not found kernel panic![]()
im having problems with it too, but thats just do to my bad luck of not being able to compile a fucntiona kernel *ever* i guess i gotta wait til slackware to come out with 2.6.x to use it :-[
i have had bad luck with the test releases. i couldnt get them to function with my ethernet on gentoo, though ill look into it, i have time to waste. I already have the sources downloaded though.
oh, on a side note:
i go away for a few days to a environmental learning center...and only then does Linus decide to release 2.6.0 ... lol
does anyone have advice now kernel compiling because i think im condemned to *sucking* at it. i know what my hardware is but i just cant seem to ever make a kernel that doesnt barf up errors on me?
