this is just ignorant
%#$@!! fooleryThis means that SCO is opening the gates to possibly take action against the open-source organizations behind such BSD-based operating systems as FreeBSD, NetBSD and OpenBSD. In addition, since Apple Computer Inc.'s Mac OS X is based on BSD Unix, Apple too could be targeted.
All these companies who may or may not be threatened by the SCO affair really need to band together. Off the top of my head there's SGI, Novell, Apple, IBM, SuSE, and Red Hat. Those alone surely could find SOME way to drive the final nail.
I just read in another article this AM that they are going to try and go at BSD (again?) now. I swear the sooner this company dies the better.
Rest assured, SCO, that if you survive this, if I am ever in a position to make company IT decisions I will NEVER choose an SCO product, NEVER.
;D
