    Floppy drive question

    Hey all,

I put a different HD in my PC. And only after messing with the IDE cables did I notice that I needed a jumper (Praise be to RadioShack for being open on Sundays). But now my floppy drive light stays on. Does anyone know what might be causing this.

I just haven't had the energy to open the case AGAIN. So I'm thinking that I might have put the cable into the floppy drive upside down/backwards.

Let me know what you think.

    Yeah, cable backwards.

THat's why nowadays, HDD manufacturers make cables to go in only one way. ;D. FDD are cheap so they don't care.
