    Re:OS X Panther Review

Okay. I finally have enough cash (stupid insurance and cell phone bill!) to purchase a Powerbook, and I'll be ordering it this weekend. I'll be getting the stock 1.25ghz model. I can't wait.

Quick question. How long can I expect to wait until my Powerbook arrives. As I said, I'm getting the stock 1.25ghz model so they shouldn't need to build it. I'll be doing 2-day shipping, so could I expect to get it sometime next week after processing?

I did the 2 day as well and got my PowerBook about 5 days after processing (due to the weekend, non-buisness days) and mine came from some asian country oddly enough.

i have mac os x 10.3 on the ibook right now, ive never used mac os, so far it is mediocre. *shrugs* im keeping it on to play with but it doesnt have the feel that linux gives me. maybe its cause im not familiar with its interface.

Looks like I'm going to have to wait on Panther, and stick with Jaguar. The Sonnet OSX util to install on Legacy PowerMacs doesn't support Panther yet. :'(
