    apt sources list

    Update:
    December 1, 2004
Added lists from our friend CGA for Debian backports. These enable Debian stable to be much more updated than straight Debian stable.
Excellent list servers to add to your /etc/apt/sources.list file here:
    http://www.backports.org/mirrors.html

    November 29, 2004
Add new sources for apt at end of this thread for Fedora Core 3 - Give MoJo JoJo some Kamra for these ;D

Okay - this thread is getting a bit messy, so I am going to arrange it by version, i.e. redhat 9 is one verison, debian sarge is another etc, etc...

    hi all,
Schotty had a great idea - posting sources list for apt - in the interest of keeping it on topic and on topic lets keep it locked and sticky - if anyone wants to add something let me or any mod know.

    edit!!

Demian gave me this great link - http://www.apt-get.org/
It is for any debain user who wants an excellent list of sources.

To install apt for fedora get the RPMs here:
    http://ftp.freshrpms.net/pub/freshrp...a/linux/1/apt/

    btw!!
These entries would be be put in the file /etc/apt/sources.list
