I'm getting freakin' tired of everyone's attitude here. Don't get me wrong, this isn't going to be one of those "can't we all just get along" or "I hate it here so I'm leaving" kind of threads. I guess this is mostly going to be a venting thread.

I just think that it's b.s. that one issue (a person) is causing such dissent. If someone doesn't want to help, or doesn't want to listen...fine. If someone wants to provide tech support and not have everything screwed up by different opinions or solutions, then the persons in question should just pm each other. If a question is posted, we have to assume that there might be different solutions to the problem. It doesn't do any good to get mad when there are different solutions given that might not work or could prove detrimental to the process.

We've had some heated moments here before, but I think it would do us well to remember those moments and how they made us feel. I, personally, don't want to see anyone's feelings get hurt. Especially not the core thirty or forty people here who actually care and post on a regular basis.

This forum is known for it's friendlyness and for our willingness to help people regardless of experience level. There is very little elitism here. I feel that our present attitudes could very well be our greatest undoing as a community. In my mind, it is all about the community...the Linux community, the OSS community, and the linuxjunior community. And, after all, without the community which we provide, this would just another forum.

These are just my thoughts and my observations. Take them for what they are worth.
