Hehe, I didnt even watch one game this weekend. I did see the Cubs whip the Braves. Too bad that one catch wasnt ruled a double play (the one where sheffield ran past the other guy). But the Cubbies got their double a few pitches later ;D

I want to see the Cubs vs. Red Sox. Talk about creating a paradox

I don't normally watch football, it just so happens that the game was on the tv at work. So, being the attentive lad that I'm not, I watched while working (didn't miss too much work).

My preference is to watch soccer (football!), but it's a bit harder to do here than in some places I've been. Why can't America get on the band-wagon and watch the most popular sport in the world!? Sheesh

I grew up in Europe and was a soccer fan, had no idea about what American football was all about.
After I moved to the States and friends explained me the rules, I got completely hooked on American football. I still like soccer, but in my opinion football is a lot more exciting.

Football is and has always been the game the americans call soccer - it's a classic american strangeness to rename a sport that all over the world is known as football because they can... It's the lingustic equal to Microsofts embrace and extend tactics.

What you watch every Monday night is "American football".
