    Celeron 300 Mhz
    128 Mb
4 Gigs HD (Linux only uses about 1)

    Linux RH9
    Webmin Version 1.110
    Squid 2.5

What I would do if I were you is increase the amount of RAM.

I can't believe I forgot the Debian placement. Time to update that note. Thanx Compunuts!

Double or would you suggest more? I mean, it's not a top of the bill server. All is realy does is being a gateway for 3 internet-using clients and during evenings it is routing incoming UT traffic.

Well, that depends. I saw that you were running Squid ( caching ) server so I thought you were caching web pages, then you will need more RAM than what you have.

OK, if it's only the gateway server, then it should be good. My gateway is P233 with 256 RAM. It also is my internal webserver, database server for web pages with backend database support and its more than enough.
