Well it looks like that i got an error message. I typed in grub which brought this up.
grub>
and then at that command i typed this in.
setup (hda0) and then here is the error message that i got.
Error 23: Error while parsing number.

It is not hda0. is hd0. Check my post again.

No sorry did not work. I got the same error. I tryed both hda0 and hdaO. Still did not work. Please reply back.

hd0 gives me this error. Error 12: Invalid drive requested and hdO gives me the same error as before. Please reply back. Thanks.

Did you mounted the partition as read-write?
You might need to do a chroot before doing grub. Read the instructions ithas on the rescue screens. It tells you exactly how to do it.
