    Dual Drives

Does Linux have a problem with those dual cd-rw/dvd drives? I'm thinking of getting one and would like to know if there will be any issues with it!

    Thnx.

When I had two optical drives I had no problems. One was, I think, cd0 and one was cd1...or something. I looked at the fstab briefly, so I could be way off base. Otherwise, you should not have any problems as long as the fstab, etc files are correct. Might take a little bit of tinkering. Hmmm....since I havenīt set up the other hdd, I might just bust out the other cdrw drive I have and try to get them running together.

Maybe some other day. Iīm just glad my mouse works now (long story).

    Cheers

Since you have a combo drive and I think that Derek has a combo drive (not certain, Compaq's website sucks), if we can get Derek to post his fstab and you post yours, maybe could compare the two to see if that is why his sound doesn't work. It's worth a shot, I think.
