yeah i'm back.
likely i won't visit very often but i am back. one of the other mods at justlinux took an innocent post by me too far abd decided it was nercessary to be very rude in the response. so i have left there for good.
it may be slow here but rude ***hole mods are not common.
my time is spent mostly on arch linux but i will help when i can here.

That doesn't sound very sporting. Anyway, what have you been doing since you last left us? Any interesting stories you can share with us (it's late and I'm bored here at work)?
not much justlinux made me a mod. i continue to maintain packges for arch linux. preety tired of forums alot of the n00bs have little respect and most forums are poorly moderated or over moderated.
i continue to enjoy my 12" powerbook (no linux on it)
and xfce4 is a pretty darn nice DE.
oh yeah i went to calgary in early summer and i bought a nice expensive camera before i went i can post some pics later if you like.
hum....its been hot and dry mostly in this part of the globe....

Calgary, eh (no pun intended)? That is one of the few major cities anywhere in the world that I am wanting to visit. Pics would be great. Yes, xfce4 is quite nice. I am very impressed with it. I'm getting a new digital camera soon (it's an Olympus C4000). Of course, the ROK is very wet and somewhat warm.

i really like the atmosphere here. yes i'm sure sometimes some people can be hard to get along with (and you mentioned LC, i don't find him hard to get along with but i'm sure some people do and i'm sure some people find me hard to get along with) but it's a lot more friendly than LNO.
