Libranet apt sources

Okay, creedon you got me interested and I am really glad you did. But now I need some sources. I grabbed Libranet 2.7 Classic off the net, if that matters much. I tried to apt get transcode and gaim (a really old one is the current).

    Thanks !

Now I can see why Libranet is so hallowed ;D Rather nicely setup.

[me=Schotty]gives thumbs up for a run on Libranet any day.[/me]
Yeah, it works and it doesn't break; what else does a Linux user need?

    Re:Libranet apt sources

Well I am curious if you or anyone else installs the nVIDIA drivers? I am trying and it is missing a few kernel header files. I try to apt get it, and it completely misses my version of the kerenel (more specifically all 2.4.19 has is sparc ??)

Any ideas? I am sure I just need a new apt-source right?

Well I got the stuff working a while ago, but was curious what apt sources are out there that would be worth adding in?
Man, that's a tough question; there's bunches of sources; it kinda depends on what your goal is: stability or latest and greatest; it's up to you. All apt sources will work, but don't get greedy, it ain't fool-proof.

Well I would like some things to be latest and greatest, such as GNOME, and some of the more office centric GNOME apps (Gnumeric, Abiword, Evolution). But I really would prefer a more stable base system.

Do you know http://www.apt-get.org/ ? That's the official place to get unofficial apt-get sources. I'm using some of them and it works no problem but I really don't know what happens when you let them lose on a Libranet install.
Although I haven't used apt-org, I don't think that there would be a problem with Libranet; it IS Debian; unlike RH- based distros, apt/dpkg works the same in all Debian-based distros.
