    CronJob - Server load

    Hello,

The load seems to be high on my server. I want to know if the load on my system crosses above 2 ? example : if the load is above 2, it should mail me. How will I set a cron for that ? what are the steps ?

any help would be appreicated ?

    hi markwaugh,

i think you dont need cron, you need to create a script to analize your system load and trigger it to send mail notification if your load is above 2. Crontab it self can't analyze system load. in this case you must be a programmer or download such script if there is available. hey! im sorry with my english, thats not my native language... :?
