    Ode to C# and .NET

I just started learning C# and .NET, and I must say it's by far the cleanest language I've ever seen, and while invented by Microsoft it's evil factor is very low... I must say they did a good job on these projects.

    I simply love C#, it's brilliant....

Would you please tell me which other languages you have seen? I did a C# class in college, and while I agree that it's not a bad language, it's far messier than half a dozen languages I know. I also didn't find anything inherently attractive about C#: a language for businesses, COBOL of the 21st century.

I havent fiddled with .NET. The IDE alone takes up 400MHz. It definitally needs a powerhouse to run. On my Windows box, im still running VS6.0
