Simple mysql questions

I run an online application that has a mysql database back-end. It has a feature that provides mqsql database backup from the web-based interface. Here are the options that I see, but I'm not sure what they mean, hence the questions.....

Structure only
Structure and data (I use this one)
Data only

There are the checkboxes in front of the following options:
Complete inserts
Extended inserts
Use backquotes with tables and fields names
Save as file ( 'zipped' 'gzipped' )
WHAT SHOULD I CHECK HERE, SHOULD I CHECK THEM ALL?

Not sure about these either.

I guess Structure is just the layout. Data being the data without the layout. Structure & Data being the layout and data; this being the one I usa also. I leave everything unchecked and save as a regular file. My database is currently only 1MB, so there is no need to compress it. If I had a larger DB, I may consider compressing it.

Which software should I use if I want to back up MySQL to teh tape drive? (Should install MySQL agents on the box running MySQL, the same way I use MS SQL agents with Arcserve?)
