Re:Then and now and later.
A book. Basically, its about a company that uses quantum mechanics to produce an alternate reality machine/time machine kinda thing. Not bad, but not one of his best either.

invisibility will definately be invented. it already is with reflector suits if anyone has seen the latest WIRED magazine. they use a coat with cameras projecting images in a 360 degree angle and painting those on the suit in real time. how cool is that ;D

Let's not forget that mirage The Philidelphia / Pheonix Project back in 1943. Feasible, or just a bunch of scientists playing with magnets that were too big for humans to withstand?
Has anyone heard of the 3D Matrix project lately? It was a processor with multiple dies stacked to increase power and extract heat from 5 different sides.
Regardless of the Quatum computing soon to come, what about the biological processors that have been discussed? It was said to replace the metal micron process by using biological substances in it's place.

The "Philidelphia Experiment" is a myth. No such events ever happened. It is just more claptrap from the flying saucer cultist types.

Perhaps but think of this for a moment :
We can "cloak" sound if we really want to. You emit the exact inversion of the audio wave that we want to "cloak".
Why not do that to photons? They also travel at a specific frequency and to have a trajectory. I am sure that a cloak can be made, and it is more than likely something like an ion propulsion drive right now : yes we can do it, just not worth it right now. Too much cost, materials, and fuel.

You first have to determine if light travels as a particle or a wave.
Second problem, it travels at 3,000,000 meter's a second.
