    Lan address?

Ok, i'm sure we are all familar with the cmd ipconfig in windows in order to gain your ip address and lan address.

Is their an easy way to figure out my computers lan address without having to restart it? Like a utility of some sort?

    Thank you
    Anthony

ifconfig will show you all the adapters in the network.

ifconfig eth0 will show you the first adaprter, eth1 the second, etc.
Has to be run as superuser.

You can run it as a non-root but you have to specify the directory. Since its path is not set to other users(?).
