I upgraded the Yabb software to the latest and greatest version. Hopefully it will solve some of the problems we've been having, but most likely created new ones. I'll try to fix them as they come up.

i noticed the cookies and was like hrmm why am i logged out. so i logged back in and mistyped my password and it didn't show up in clear text! good deal.
the cookies is only a minor hassel. the update was a good idea
I think something is broken. It is taking a lot of time to load, and the latest threads are not showing in the main page.
I also got a bunch of mysql error messages. Very weird. Thanks for upgrading, though. I appreciate all the hard work that you go through keeping this site up and running. Hopefully the various new glitches will be easily worked out.

Coincidentally, right after I did the upgrade I got this on the server:

I reported it to phpwebhosting. They must have cleaned up some stuff, but I requested a permanent solution (a bigger hard drive?).
Wow I can notice a big performance increase. If I could ask for one thing though, it would be to get more recent posts back. I, more or less, lived and died by the Recent Posts. Oh well I guess if not, then I'll just have to come to the forum more often!!! ;D

However, the Recent Threads are not updating..
