    /etc/resolv.conf

I read somewhere that the resolv.conf file can contain one domain entry, 6 search entries, and a maximum of three nameserver entries, and any number of options entries.

    I thought it was

    one domain
    6 search
    4 nameservers

    ???

    Re:/etc/resolv.conf

According to this, it is 1 domain, three name servers and six domain name variables.

This is the man page for the resolv.conf file.
