Thread: Puzzled - time settings

    Puzzled - time settings

    RH 8.0 running phpBB2
'date' command on the linux box displays the following:
Tue May 27 11:44:13 EDT 2003 (which is correct time)
    'hwclock' displays:
Tue 27 May 2003 11:44:12 AM EDT -0.951635 second (which is correct as well)
Windows 2k box displays correct time as well.
When I connect to the linux box from W2K to do the posts to phpbb I see that message time (when it was posted) is 3pm in spite that linux and W2K box have 11am on system clocks.

Any idea what could cause this?
