Gentoo to make big announcement at E3

just for you none Gentoo'ers.

At E3 today Gentoo is suppose to make a big announcement together with supercomputerinc.com - and what ever it is, it involves America' Army, Gentoo Linux and the development of a next generation gaming platform.

www.gentoogames.com has been establish, but there's no content on there yet.

Hey, even if you don't like Gentoo this is great news, Linux based gaming should be cool for everyone.

Very true. To me linux is linux. The install method is different, but in the end its the same thing. Hopefully someone will get linux out of the IT server rooms and geeks bedrooms to the mainstream. When the pimplefaced dickhead that cant figure out that I ordered a 2 double cheeseburgers and a coke, not a big mac and a ice cream cone knows it, then I am content.

btw, the announcement was "of course" the availability of a Gentoo live cd with the full version of America' Army... requires a newer ATI card (8500 or higher) or an nVidia card to play.
