Americans working abroad to be taxed twice.

The Senate bill has a smaller, $350 billion price tag after GOP moderates refused to accept more. Overall, it would cut some taxes by $421 billion over the coming decade while raising others by $71 billion. The biggest tax increase is $35 billion that would come from ending the $80,000 U.S. income-tax exemption for Americans on salaries earned overseas.

The 80k exemption just makes sense. These people who qualify for that, are already paying taxes in the country in which they're earning. Ending that 80k exemption means that not only are they going to be taxes to whatever country they happen to be living in, but also to the US Govt. This is BULL! I don't work abroad, but double taxing for ANYONE is not cool in my book.

Some states have been doing that as long as I can remember.

Example, if I live in the state of IL and work in MO, then I have to pay state taxes for both states. But I guess its sorta like a state's decision to do that, because it doesn't apply if you live in MO and work in IL.

Live in WI and work in IL is weird too. Not like double taxation, but 'really fuckin tricky tax form' weird. I was told not to do it if I had a choice.
