this may be a stab in the dark but...recently transcode completed a basic port to OS X but there are some unresolved issues and i was hoping that any os xer's out there with coding skills would be able to help. if you have experience with threading on OS X and you can spare some time to help out the transcode developer with fixing the port please email me at :

If all that is needed is threading couldn't they use the same system that FreeBSD uses for threading? Or are they having to tie it in with Quartz?

honestly? i have no clue. coding is not my bag though i am working on that. but if you have any suggestions for documention on freebsd threading it may help.
