    Testing my new video card

    I tested it with glxgears and tuxracer, looks good. What other programs should I try to test my card?

    It does have a GeForce 4MX440-8x GPU chipset, I installed the nvidia drivers for it.

    ah - if ya got the latest then also get Point2Play - it runs glxgears and gives a brief summary. also check out the really slick screen savers over to gurulabs - they are very nice.

    gltext - one of the screen savers with xfree86 will also give you fps - type /usr/X11R6/lib/xscreensaver/gltext -fps

    Unreal Tournament or Quake3. Demo or full version. I got the full GOTY verysion of UT at WalMart a few weeks ago for $7.99.

    Hey does anyone know if there is a place wher glxgears info is stored. I am looking for others with simpliar PC's and GFX cards. I think that my config is weak and needs some tweaking, but would like to consult a reference of some sort first. Any ideas? You know how these bench tools for Windows have online DB's to search ... anything similar?
