    Syntax highliting in VIM

I use vim om my FC3 rig, but I have a second computer running on debian. The funny thing is that the VIM Fedora installed by "default" coloured my PHP code, but the one I installed through APT-get install vim (and vim-full) on the debian system doesnt highlight the code.

    Any idea's?
I am trying to climb from my newbieness (I even helped out another newbie even, felt great), but still struggling with a lot. I am thankfull for all the help I get from you guys!

    Code:
    :syntax on
    Should work for you.
I didn't check the link but I'm sure it says that in there.

WOW, quick replies (I guess it wasn't that difficult)!
And yes, you were both correct :syntax on was the key as explained on that page.

    Thanks guys!
