    Restore XP and trying to partition a laptop

    My new laptop comes with the wonderful WinXP restore CD (you all have seen these before). I want to partition my 30gig HDD to have it dual boot RH9.0 and XP. I am wondering if the restore cd will just format and partition the drive as a 30gig making it near impossible (without part magic) to dual boot?

    Any thoughts on this, since I don't have RH9.0 yet I have time to entertain the ideas.
