Red hat certifications

Does anyone know of any study guides for the redhat certifications? I can get a book from bookpool for rhce but there are 2 exams I think before you get to that level. I really dont feel like dumping a grand into online courses for them but..........
Any help or study info would be appreciated.

The best study material is a box or 2 in front of you running Red Hat. I read the guides, and the websites, but nothing compared to my hands on experience w/ the OS.

Take a system, and then break it in various ways. Have a friend break it for you, so you don't know quite whats wrong.

Have a friend come up w/ a requirement set for an install. Service A has to be configured like so, has to only allow lan B to connect, GUI login, this that, and other stuff (within the included RH software), then see if you can fulfill the requirements w/in 2 hours. (start your time when you touch the blank system, not after you install the OS).

I jumped straight into the RH300 course, and got my RHCE w/out problems. The class didn't help too much, mostly w/ just the borked boot loader issues. The rest was due to my hands on experience w/ Red Hat.

I've been considering becoming a RHCE lately, just to top Ender - nah.. more to get some real Linux cert. since I'm unable to get similar education during my ICT engineering studies, and I would really like to be able to show proof that I'm good with something other than Windows.

Where can I find a list of required knowledge for the RHCE? I'd love to have that under my belt, but I want to be sure I've got the knowledge in me before I try to take it. Thanks for any info you can give me guys.

I just ordered a study book for rhce from amazon. I went with a used book for $17. I have alot of studying to do before I even consider thinking about testing.

RHCE is one of the more respected certifications out there. Unlike the MCSE, it requires a hands-on lab as well. It's not easy.... Check these out:

Braindumps are baaaaaad.

I got my book today. Man, there is no way that this book is used. The cd has never been opened. I think it had to be reduced becuase there was a mark on one end of the book. Other than that it is in perfect shape. And for only $18!!!
