    Mandrake 9.1 -- Officially Out

Hello everybody. As the titles says "IT's OUT THERE"!!!!!!

What a lovely 3 plus weeks we have had and will have --

Slackware 9.0 -- Just out --> I am currently using this with Dropline Gnome and I must say I adore it.

Mandrake 9.1 -- Must Try --> Will probably end up on my sons computer.

Red Hat 9.0 -- Might try, but not in a hurry -- sorry Schotty.

Debian (Woody/Sarge) -- Ok it is not just released, but you could say it is since packages are changing just about everyday. So who say's that Debian cannot be bleeding edge. --> I'm running this on my box as well.

    Happy Downloading

My laptop is running the 9.1rc2, and I'm already "wowwing" people on my school with the ease of use this release has.

9.1 is an AWESOME distro, although galaxy looks a bit silly IMHO, it is however endlessly better than having 2 seperate gtk and qt themes. MDK 9.1 is possibly the best beginners Linux out there, I think it will help me convert quite a few people, but I'll reserve my right to run Gentoo, but my laptop is now MDK' domain !!

AWESOME release from an otherwise troubled company, so please join the club if you have not done so already, and pick up a boxed set - show your support for Linux and it's development.

That and Slack 9 are the only ones that get my unfeathered support. But then again its all taste ;D BTW, I will have one on RHN release day.

Mandrake 9.1 is simply the most polished distro out there. The config tools are as good as if not better than the XP control panel , and this new galaxy theme is sweet. The installer now in gtk2 and whatnot, is gorgeous, and the fonts on this are too good to be true......I love mandrake =)

PS, anyone besides me using these Xcursor replacements now with XF4.3?? They KICK ASS
