    laptop battery support for redhat?

    hi,

i just went through a pretty painless install of redhat 8 on a dell C600 latitude.
i was wondering if there is a way to see the amount of battery usage left.
    thanks for any ideas.

Make sure the apm module is loaded. If it is, you should see an icon on the taskbar.

In gnome there is the "battery charge monitor" applet. If that is what you are looking for.
