sendmail aliases

Hi,

In sendmail,

suppose I have users that have local accounts and accounts in another department mail server. some of them forward their mail to the other department.

if I have an alias group that has thier local account and their other department account, will sendmail send the email to both or will it figure out that their local account is being forwarded to the other department and only send one email?

If you are asking what I think you are asking, you will get an inifite loop creating a shitload of emails. This will stop when the box floods. That is if you are asking what I think you are asking.
