btw, a friend of mine is looking at alternate linux flavors to RedHat. He played with MDK and according to him its pretty much the same. Now Xandros is more like Lindows than RedHat right? Would this be something to maybe buy/reccomend for him? He has the feeling he will either stick with RedHat or go FreeBSD (it can run WineX). Any thoughts are appreciated.

I prefer FreeBSD to RedHat. Actually, I prefer FreeBSD (overall) to Linux.

i personally havnt used it but know people who have and like it. i like the fact that it's debian based, makes the updates a breeze.
