how do i upgrade iptables?

I think we got it straightened out. I just got off of the phone with 10dedfish. We had to change around some stuff in his sysconfig file for run levels 3 and 5, and a few other things. He restarted his system, and ran the firewall script he had setup with no errors. I told him to get someone or go to a security site and get scanned an let us know.

I appreciate everyones help. I still cant browse thru my linux box, but i think its more a winbloz problem than redhat. I had to reboot for the troubleshooting that MM and I were doing, after that, lsmod worked fine. Go figure.

Hey check tldp.org and get the masquerading how-to, also monmothas firewall script sets up most of that for you. So, once you set the ipv4 packet forwarding to 1 in the sysctl file, run the monmothma script and you should be prettywell gtg.
