    Modules.conf

    Does anyone has a link that describes what does modules.conf do, and how to edit it? Do I have to change it if I recompile my kernel and add new options? What is the proper syntax for that file?

    I found this http://ccrma-www.stanford.edu/planet...es.conf.5.html , but I guess it is very techincal on the explanation, it goes well over my head.

    i think there is a mna page for modules.conf , it is also a bit technical... but hopefully better than that.
