Check speed of interent connection

Could someone tell me if there is a program or a way to monitor the speed of my internet connection?

I tested my Internet speed by using the http://www.ip-details.com/internet-speed-test/
It's used to test my internet connection speed.My speed test results are,
7.02 Mbps when downloading,
2.86 Mbps when uploading..
