Before you crap ALL over the idea:

Regarding feature requests:
"We should really have a website for this stuff. And mark each item as 2.3 or 2.5 ad time goes on. bugzilla is good for bugs, but sometimes it just isn't the best way to get something done. In fact I hate the buzilla interface so much that i've been tempted to maintain a list of nautilus bugs in catagories and with discriptions etc.."

There's an amount of demand out there. I certainly think it's a good idea. Really it's up to the domain owners and website authors.

It's a possibility, but not something that we will add right away. We've decided to make it tutorials for casual computer users and new users ... but feature requests are not to odd that they couldn't be added. Who knows :P.

One thing I have always wanted to see at the end of a tutorial is a short quiz to see how well I understand it.

Hmm, interesing proposition, we could probably swing that a little later on in the development stage. I definitely like the idea.

My thoughts exactly...

well my site has a new forum--blazing penguin-- which i hope will become a source of interactive howtos. post you howto and try and make it as universal as possible and respondants are free to make corrections. the hope is to have interact howtos that are current.

it is a very simple forum format right now because i do not anticipate high traffic. feel free to use it.
