..shortly, probably one of those "when its done" type time lines. Then again, id has never failed to deliver one helluva gaming experience, so it will probably be worth the wait.

Hey Guess What......
Gentlemen start your wallets!! Doom3 reccomendations are pouring out of Texas check them out along with some nice comparisons of basically all the options here http://www2.hardocp.com/article.html?art=NjQ0

Saving up for a GeForce 5900XT right now. That should be enough to play it, from what that article says, and Pricegrabber has it listed well under $200, woohoo! No more needing to whore myself out for hardware!
I can say that on my Windows machine 1 gig of ram, Athlon XP 2400 and a Geforece 4 64MB, on lowest settings is still jumpy in places.
w00t? According to that article even I could play it with my current setup. It may not run well but it should run. I may have to buy that bugger after all, unless I buy the xbox version...
Hey, I got a brand new graphics card!!! Yes, it is the Radeon 9800Pro !!! YES, 256mb of pure video goodness! I had Doom 3 running at 1024x768 at 32bpp and there was no slowdown whatsoever! And that is with an Athlon XP 2800+, and 512mb DDR400 RAM! God, the wonders of modern computing!!!

My Gaming PC: Intel Core 2 Duo 2.93ghz, 4gb DDR2 RAM, 9800GTX+
Athlon XP 3200+
1 GB DDR400 (Dual-Channel)
GeForce FX 5200 256 MB
640x480, Low (Maybe Medium) Settings..
and that lets it run smoothly.. andything higher.. and it jerks around.. -_-
Really!? With those specs...hmmm doesn't bode well for the future of my gaming, hopefully my experience is more like beezle's.
