    Mozilla/Phoenix rendering and loading PET

I had a few spare seconds to share some hints for the popular Gecko engine.

So... should I take this as a succes story?
Because I only tested this briefly on Phoenix and it seemed to work nicely but messing with the rendering timer can in theory lead to some strange rendering on some sites, but I have yet to see it.

it is looking good for me - thonly thing that is different is my prefs.js is in ~/.mozilla/pbharris/YTRYGSAYAS/prefs.js - there is none in /usr/local/mozilla/defaults/pref/prefs.js (where i have mozilla installed).

you should edit user.js in that dir, not prefs.js, it wont exist so just create it.
check: http://flii.blomp.com for more info on the files

I figured my PC had a global file.. why not set that one, so the changes at present for all users..

yeah that makes sense, but if the local profile is to be changed it should be user.js not prefs.js

Thanks for the PET - It really makes Phoenix render faster on my machine. I'll have try it out on Galeon as well.
