Using Samba to browse Windows Network

I've looked around for information on how to access files and computers on my Windows network, from my Linux (Slackware 8.1) box. However, most articles I find focus on having Windows machines access your linux machine.
Can anyone point me in the right direction (articles, what files to configure, etc.) I already have samba installed from the Slackware installation.
