You're cooking and hunting/gathering, so you must be feeling better (hope so  ) .
Happy Birthday! :w00t: :cow:
So yesterday, I'm leaning over putting grace in her little bouncy car, and when I stand back up, I have a severe pain in my mid back (just below the shoulder blades).
I go to the doctor, I get some heavy duty motrin, and I spend the rest of the day lying on my back in pain.
Today I turn 26.
I'm still in pain and I'm getting older.
Is it supposed to happen that way? What happened to the days when I could run around pain free? I'm only 26!!! I shouldn't hurt.
Oh well. Gotta go cook the shrimp..... and buy the beer....

Old Timer, Happy Birthday!!!!
Don't worry about the pain, it goes away after 60 or 70 years. :cow: :cow: :cow: :cow: :cow: :cow: :cow:
happy b-day dude, sucks about the back, i screwed my knee up pretty badly and still have to be careful with it when i'm training, and i'm only 22!, so i know how it feels to be not-old, but have those problems
All us old guys are wondering whats wrong with the kids today! Wait, am I the only "old" guy? Is this the genealogy forum?
I've been on Celebrex for degeneration in my knees since I was 24. Go Army!... That's been 2 years and some change now. I know how you feel. Happy Birthday!!!
Mark,
Happy birthday!
It's funny how a couple of surgeries will slow you down, even at age 19 or 20.
Looks like I'm the ancient one here. :cow:
heh, backs ok... just strained a muscle in it. damned muscles. I knew I avoided them for a reason.... ;-)
It was a good day over all. I'm still alive. I only hope this year is as good as the last (Had a kid, earned a degree, got a cool job...)
Hard to top the year you had, but it's worth a try.
