Hi,
Can anyone recommend an application for using KDE desktop via Windows, like VNC , only better?? I have had a look at x-win32 but I just get errors when connecting the Linux system?
Thanks
Paul

I would like to run the Linux box and a windows box but connect to the linux box remotely having the KDE desktop rather that just a ‘ssh’ or ‘telnet’ session. Reason I ask is that I have two systems (Linux and 2k) in the living room and have to keep unplugging and connecting them all up. I have found that VNC is to sluggish even at 100mb connection from Linux to Windows and find its not fully functional the other way around. Maybe I am asking to much and should just bite the bullet and scrap the 2k system!!
Thanks
Paul
i think an x server for windows will be your best bet.
take a look at these articles:
if they refer to some software on the cds that you want, just ask, i have them lying around somewhere
