Seems everything is free, fill in your name address and other details and answer a few questions about what type of user you are. No credit card details needed.Originally Posted by beezlebubsbum

I got one of these or something similar at their booth in Linux World Expo.
It was supposedly a fully functional "Eval Kit". It was total BS and was not fully functional.
It was basically a server install with an admin front end that looked like a glorified Webmin setup.
When I created regular users, it wouldnt even allow me to log in as them.
Technically, it may have been functional but it was not useable.

NOBODY reads my email
then who would want to anyway
I signed up just for the hell of it, that said it's in the mail. This is kinda cool. But I am a bit wary being as it is SuSE................
I was reading a book by torvalds today, and he mentions that he uses Suse at home... weird...
(this was 2000 though...)
Thats cool about Torvalds. I would expect him to use a hybridized-as-all-hell type machine. Then again he is a family man, he probably doesn't spend as much time hacking away at Linux in his free time since it is his full time job.
On the other hand I can see Alan Cox running some insanely stable 2.2.X kernel with a minimulistic windowmaker session on a machine that went out of date 10 years ago.
I put my name down and I haven't recieved it yet. Has anyone else recieved it?

ordered has been shipped and you should be receiving it soon.
