Just got a new book in

Not sure how many of you out there are into MySQL admining and/or installation and/or use, but I just got a new book from Amazon called MySQL by Paul Dubois ISBN # 0-7357-0921-1

It seems like a very good book, it got almost ALL good reviews at Amazon and the part I have read about administration has been REALLY good and easy to understand. I guess there are also A LOT of good examples in the book too. Just thought I would let everyone know.

I installed a MySQL server on my computer for me to play with. I've written some web pages that use a MySQL back end. I've also written C++ programs as a client for the MySQL server. I haven't done anything professionally with databases, yet, but they are fun to play around with.

Sounds like a book that I could really have some fun with. Thanks for the tip. I've been thinking about jumping in and getting my feat wet with databases. I'll have to give it a look-see!
